F.A.Q.

What is the shelf life of the products?
The expiration date indicated on the packages is 6 months for beef and pork coppiette and 2 months for snacks.
Please note that this is the expiration date shown on the packaging. For legal and safety reasons, it is not necessarily the date by which the products must be consumed.
As they are vacuum-packed, they can last longer when stored in the refrigerator.
Once opened, they should not be stored in the refrigerator but in a cool, dry place. In this case, they will continue to dry further and can last for a very long time.

How is beef jerky made and what ingredients and flavors are used?
High-quality meat from adult cattle is used, particularly selected cuts from the hind leg.
The pieces are cut and prepared with spices: salt and natural flavorings.
They are then left to cure.
Finally, they are sliced and vacuum-packed.

How long can dried meat be consumed after opening?
Dried meat belongs to the category of cured products. Once the package is opened, it is recommended to store it in a dry place.
If stored properly, it can last more than two or three days, even up to one or two months.
As with salami, a whitish film (so-called “good mold”) may form on the surface.

Is pepper added only for flavor or in quantities similar to salt?
Pepper is present in minimal quantities and is sometimes not even noticeable.

Does beef dried meat contain preservatives?
Our dried meat contains no preservatives.

What are the delivery times?
Orders are usually processed on the next working day or the day after.
Delivery is typically completed within 1–2 days.

What is the difference between beef coppiette and beef jerky?
The differences are:
1 – the preparation method
2 – the ingredients
3 – the cut of meat used
4 – the different yield due to preparation and drying

I received my order, but the package was not vacuum-sealed. Is this normal or could the meat be contaminated?
The packaging is vacuum-sealed as a precaution and to extend shelf life.
Sometimes the vacuum may be lost during transport.
However, this does not damage the product.
If you intend to open and taste it immediately after delivery, you can do so without concern.
If, however, you plan to store it unopened for several months, it is better to remove the product and let it continue drying in a cool, well-ventilated place, not in the refrigerator.

I opened the dried meat package and after 3 days I see a white film on the meat.
The meat contains no preservatives, and this film normally forms after opening.
If stored in a dry and ventilated place, the meat will continue to dry.
Otherwise, if conditions are only dry, a white mold may form.
This is known as “good mold,” similar to that found on salami.
